Services The Client Experience Getting Started Meeting your communications objective is the central focus of all Medialink Public Affairs strategies. Prior to engagement, we meet with you to brainstorm about your audience, issue and message. Our team will then outline a strategy that offers a program of content production and media distribution options with corresponding budgets that is in alignment with your objectives. Upon formal acceptance of this proposal, together Medialink Public Affairs and you refine the strategy and develop the final plan. Whether you have a swiftly-developing situation or an event that will progress in stages, our team can mobilize efforts quickly. The depth of our public affairs experience and network of global media contacts can be deployed during a crisis or campaign. Clients partner with Medialink Public Affairs to produce short, effective video or audio messages that are appropriate for targeted cable or radio audiences or online portals and websites. These messages are then published or placed before strategically-determined audiences with a timing and frequency designed to be most effective and within budget. Each message contains full source identification and contact details to help audiences learn more about the organization, issue or service profiled in the clip. While these messages and distributions are often focused on cable, online and radio audiences, Medialink Public Affairs can also produce and distribute client messages for more traditional applications where results are variable, but can be powerful including: b-roll distribution, satellite media tours (SMTs), or public service announcements (PSAs). Narrative Storytelling Our dedicated and award-winning production team is committed to bringing together the technical element of your project effortlessly and on budget. Your designated project manager is your conduit to an entire team of professional producers and editors, allowing you one point of contact throughout the process. During production, we are focused on a narrative story telling approach that will result in an explanatory vehicle for your public affairs message – one that will certainly resonate with audiences who are eager to stay informed about issues that affect their everyday lives. Micro-Targeting In consultation with you, we determine how best to reach your target audiences. We have created a series of cable television and radio media programs that help you reach most geographic or demographic target audiences. You will know exactly when, where and how often your message will be seen by target audiences. In addition, we will post your video message online at leading portals like Yahoo and Google and our own sites including publicaffairs.TV, and the Medialink Digital Newsroom. We can target Spanish speaking audiences as well with a translated version of your message or a unique production – with distribution guaranteed on cable channels, radio and online. Interviews of your spokesperson by news stations in your key markets are easily arranged via media tours – in English or Spanish, on television or radio. This can be done in a single state or in key markets nationwide. Tracking and Reporting For most of our micro-targeting services, we can tell you exactly when and where your video was seen. But Medialink Public Affairs also has access to sophisticated broadcast intelligence technologies that provide precise reporting on video we produce for you and distribute to stations. This proprietary service, Teletrax™, can also help track your PSAs or advertising campaigns. Your Web report is delivered complete with usage details and video clips highlights of television coverage in key markets. Digital Newsrooms We can create an online archive of all your video that can reside in two central repositories: one is your own branded digital newsroom that operates as microsite linked from your primary website; the other is the Internet portal, Medialink Digital Newsroom, which has provided journalists and Web publishers with rich media content since 1999. Journalists may request your video from either site, and we can watermark your video so we can report to you where it airs. |
